Bob!

Doesn't he look regal? Even with his semi-ludicrous name tag.

Little Bobbles is so adorable and furry.

I am a cat lover, but I must say I don't much like white cats or cats with excessive amounts of white fur. I don't know why. I just find them ugly. A few white patches is ok, but Bob crosses the line.

You cover your furry ears, Bob! Don't listen to the mean lady!

i was thinking about this last night while i brushed my teeth and decided that it must be because white is as unflattering a colour on cats as it is on humans.

plus cats are refined creatures and a dirty white coat demeans them.

we did once have a predominantly white cat, paddy, and his fur was the softest i've ever stroked and his nature the most placid i have ever encountered. he was not, however, very handsome.

Bob and his brother Stig (who is black with white bits) are the softest, furriest, whitest cats I have ever met. Someone once asked me if their owner (Dave) shampoos them, but no. And they're both very pretty. Bob also has powers of posing for photos that Stig can only dream of.

We had two white cats when I was young and the terrible thing was that they got skin cancer on their pink little noses and ears. Poor things.

you've met bob? i thought these were just random cats off the net. if i'd known i was insulting a feline friend of yours, i would have been more restrained!

I actually took that picture of Bob. That's my (Sydney) bed he's sitting on. We used to look after him and Stig when Dave went on holidays. They're so furry and adorable. Awwwwww

I feel that I should set the record straight - Stig is actually called Stan. Robyn decided to call them them Stig and Bjorn, although obviously Bjorn didn't stick. I prefer Bobbles and Stannles.

are you responsible for any of the other stuff on my cat photos??

is that what you've really been doing all this time in switz - photographing cats in compromising positions? the cattarazzi! (sorry, lame joke)
