Here's A Tip
We were talking about tipping people in french this morning, and apart from the obvious ones of waiters, taxi drivers etc, everyone seemed to think it is normal to tip hairdressers and nurses. Am I really so out of the loop? Really?

Nurses is a new one, but hairdressers for sure. I typically tip them more than waiters - about 10%.
In 2007 I made a Grand Romantic Gesture and moved to the other side of the world for the sake of my international boyfriend. In 2008 he became my husband, and the serious work of living and loafing in a new country really began.
