Poor Poorly Rogy
In other sporty news (who would have thought I had this much sporty news?? Or any at all, frankly), apparently little Rogy Federer may have all this world-class sport person stuff going on, but that doesn't mean he's medically fit for military service. Or so his german wikipedia entry tells me. That bit is mysteriously omitted from the english version.

Yeah, all the top (male) athletes manage to get out of military service. Drives my husband, the Lt. Colonel, crazy. I, however, think guys like Federer and Didier Cuche etc do more for Swiss national honor as world class athletes than as military grunts, so I think they are doing their part in their own way.
I think it's good that he (Rogy) still lives in the general vicinity of where he lived before, ie. that he hasn't moved to one of the tax-dodge type cantons, or to a tax-dodge type country. I approve of people paying their taxes.
