I've seen about 4 people on roller skates this week. All of them on their own (as in, I didn't see 4 people rollerskating together, which would have been less odd). And when was the last time I saw someone on roller skates? In the 80s maybe?

We saw people on roller skates all over the place during our trip to Wallis (Valais) and Zermatt.
What is up with that???
I loved roller skating as a child. Oh, how I long for Willow Trail!
Funny, I saw a guy on roller skates last week - he was in his mid-20s and getting off of a bus and I did a double take. Just not what one expects to see.
