Happy Birthday, Kizzy!
Happy birthday, Kizzy (a day early because I will be absent from technology tomorrow, but since I doubt you read my blog anyway (so you think you have better things to do? Hah!) I suppose it doesn't matter)! And since you are unlikely to read this, can I just say that this cat kind of reminds me of you. The hat reminds me of that Mongolian one of yours ...
Oh course I am going to read your blog when it has something to do with me ;-)
The cat is adorable and it reminds me of my Mongolian hat too.
You won't believe how I am celebrating my 30th birthday this weekend:
Yesterday my friend and I went to a jazzercise class (breast cancer fund raiser) which was like a scene out of Kath and Kim. The room was full of over-weight middle aged suburban Canberrans in pink t-shirts "doing the monkey" and other similar moves.
Today I am at uni doing work on a book chapter which is due on Monday.
Maybe turning 30 makes you boring :-)
I did have a fabulously fun picnic at Balmoral (Sydney) last weekend, although being a picnic, even that was low key and then afterward a bunch of us went back to a friend's house to water the leaders debate (Howard VS Rudd) which I was really excited about.
It would have been nice to have you there too but we will drink many a schnapps in Europe I'm sure.
Lots of love and thank you for the birthday cat (I love it)
In 2007 I made a Grand Romantic Gesture and moved to the other side of the world for the sake of my international boyfriend. In 2008 he became my husband, and the serious work of living and loafing in a new country really began.
