So, is an alphorn checked luggage or carry-on?
Happily we managed to rent one from a Swiss person living in Sydney, so neither. You can pull them apart (into 3 pieces, this one) which makes them a lot more portable but less entertaining. They are also a lot lighter than you would imagine.
Alphorn my rosy cheeks! I know a crack pipe when I see one. Even if it is extremely oversized :D
Nah, the Swiss don't smoke crack.
They put some fine alpine "herbs" in it and smoke those...
