Who, Me?
I went to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages to collect my new birth certificate today. The woman who was looking for it for me was searching through a big stack of papers and she said to me "what's your surname?" and I said "ummm...". I really wasn't too sure what the right answer was.

And you should have answered (in light of your recent post) "Y". And the lady would've said "Well, because I need it to locate your certificate - you're not the only Robyn in the world, you know." And you'd go "No no - Y is my surname" and she'd say "Why is your surname what? And what IS your surname?" You'd then say "My surname is not what, it is Y", and you'd have yourself a verbal mixup in the spirit of Airplane and Airplane the sequel ;)
Aaah, if only it had been that way ...
